Aaaaa (Cardoon) is a sound-sensitive interactive installation that delves into prevalent yet often-evaded topics: (the castration of) aggression, (the forced) identities, (the disconnection of) physical presence, and (the silencing of) screams.
It is a challenge to embrace the discomfort of authenticity, an invitation to liberate oneself through physicality, and an experiment in transcending one’s limitations. It encourages us to shatter illusory boundaries—to become large enough to contain contradictions within ourselves.
The piece’s visual form consists of three intertwined themes: the end table, the cardoon, and the universe.
