ON the ROAD is a short collage video of a 10-day road trip in California. It reconstructs the experience of boredom, excitement, sleepiness, anxiety, and companionship. The order of the video clips is intentionally scrambled, mimicking a more realistic experience of human memory—scattered stories with ups and downs, trivial moments, the people we loved, and the memories we cherished.
